The board and the dock
A quick tour of the Canvas board, the dock, and the controls around it.
The dock
The dock sits at the bottom center of the board. It is your main way to add nodes and open tools:
- Text, Image, Video, Audio add a new node of that type.
- Upload opens your device picker for an image or video file.
- Import opens your library.
- Character opens the Character library.
- Shortcuts shows every keyboard shortcut.
Nodes on the board
Each node is one piece of your project: a prompt with its result, a piece of media you brought in, or some writing. A node shows its type, its content, and a small menu of actions when you hover it. Drag from one node to another to wire them as references. For the full picture, see Nodes.
Zoom and view controls
The controls in the corner let you zoom in and out and fit the board to your screen. You can also zoom with your mouse or trackpad. Hover any control to see its shortcut.
