Create a board
Start a new Canvas project and add your first node.
Every board is a saved project. It never expires, and your work is saved as you go.
Start a project
- Open Canvas from the sidebar.
- Click New project. A fresh board opens right away.
- Give it a name by clicking the title at the top, or rename it later from the gallery.
Your project appears in My projects on the Canvas home page, sorted by most recent activity.
Add your first node
Use the dock at the bottom of the board to add a node:
- Text for a brief, a script, or a character description.
- Image, Video, or Audio to generate that kind of media.
- Upload to bring in a file from your device.
- Import to pull from your library.
- Character to add a preset person.
You can also right click anywhere on the board to open the same Add node menu at that spot. New to the idea? See Nodes.
Move around the board
Drag the background to pan, and scroll or pinch to zoom. Drag a node by its body to reposition it. See Keyboard shortcuts for the full set on Mac and Windows.
Everything is saved
There is no save button. Your board is saved automatically a moment after each change, so you can close the tab and come back to exactly where you left off.
