Generating
Generate video
Create a clip from a prompt, a starting frame, or a start and end frame.
A video node turns your prompt into a clip. How you wire in images decides how the clip begins and ends.
Three ways to make a clip
- Text to video: write a prompt with no image references, and Canvas creates the clip from your words.
- From a first frame: wire in one image as the first frame, and the clip starts on that image and moves from there.
- From a first and last frame: wire in a first frame and a last frame, and the clip travels between the two images.
Set each image's role from its connection. See Reference roles for video.
Generate a clip
- Add a Video node from the dock.
- Write your prompt.
- Wire in a first frame, or a first and last frame, if you want to guide the motion.
- Choose your options, then generate.
Video takes longer than an image. The node shows its progress and updates on its own when the clip is ready, so you can keep working on the board while it runs.
Keep a subject consistent
Use a character or a product image as the first frame to keep the same subject from the very first moment of the clip.
Generating video uses credits. Higher resolution and longer clips use more.
