An image node turns your prompt into a picture. Add references to keep a face, a product, or a style consistent.

Generate an image

1. Add an Image node from the dock.
2. Write your prompt in the chat box.
3. Wire in any references you want the image to keep.
4. Generate. The result appears on the node when it is ready.

Text to image

With only a prompt and no image references, Canvas creates the picture from your words alone. This is the fastest way to explore an idea.

Image to image

Wire an image in as a reference and Canvas uses it as a starting point. Use this to restyle a photo, keep a subject across variations, or build on an earlier result. Combine it with a character to keep the same person in every shot.

• Keep prompts specific about subject, setting, and mood.
• Use a text node for a description you reuse often, and tag it in your prompt.
• Add one reference at a time to see how each one shapes the result.
